Any hard landscaped area made up of block paving, tarmac, concrete, or other stone surface is suitable for the pressure washing cleaning processes that are offered.
What is the process?
A free site assessment and written quotation which includes pressure washing. Extras are applications of sealants, re-sanding, stain removal and weeding.
How long will it take?
With the high pressure equipment, which operates at 230 bar and 1150 litres/hour flow, it takes a fraction of the time that would be required by a domestic jet-washer. The high-tech design of our low level rotary cleaner keeps the mess under control and away from the adjacent areas.
Will the process damage my block paving?
The flat surface cleaner we use on drives, patios and pathways will not normally undermine sand or damage the surface, and can be adjusted accordingly to suit different surfaces and materials. However, once an area has been cleaned, some customers may decide to have it resanded. In this case, a follow up visit may be required to brush in the sand as the area needs to be completely dry.
How much will it cost?
This depends on the size of the surface area to be cleaned and sanded, and the condition in which the area is on inspection. Our average, for cleaning a 2 car driveway will be in the region of £75-100.
Should I have the surface sealed?
Sealing will restore and enhance the original colour of the surface and provide extra protection against the elements and future staining. If a sealant is ordered, this normally requires a second visit to apply the product.
The acrylic sealant lasts 1-3 years between re-treatments, and the pre-polymer urethane sealant typically double this time. Routine regular light rinsing helps to prolong the condition of the surface. Once the surface has been sealed it will not need resanding again.
Are stains completely removed?
In most cases most stains can be removed. In severe cases where stains have been in place a long time, it may be necessary to treat the area with a sealant after cleaning, to blend out any small residual stains. This will be discussed with the customer before the work commences.
What about weed prevention?
Weed killer will be applied to the area if required. If the area is to be sealed, the jointing sand in the blockpaving will be set rather than loose which will prevent new weeds taking root.
What preparation will I need to make?
There will be minimum disruption and you do not need to be at home whilst we are working. All we ask is that you clear as much of your garden furniture from the area we are cleaning. We will leave the area clean and tidy. Any downstairs windows, sills or doors will be cleaned as part of the service.
We care about your property as if it is our own.
